What is required to join RINGOHAN?

Residence in Japan

Can RINGOHAN be used with a cell phone?
RINGOHAN has been designed for computers and cannot be used with cell phones.

Can I use a free email address?
Free email addresses like Hotmail are not recommended because they tend to be the source of the following kinds of problems.
- Most can be acquired without providing identification
- Some are invalidated if they aren't used in two to three months
- Server storage is often limited and mailboxes fill up quickly, which sometimes prevents RINGOHAN emails from being delivered.

My brother wants to join the club, too. Can he use the same email address?
Email addresses cannot be shared. Everyone has to have their own email address to join, even members of the same family.

I registered my email address to join the club, but I haven't received any information on membership procedures even though 24 hours has now passed.

The reason for this may be:
- An error occurred when you registered and the data was not sent as it should have been
- You made a mistake entering your email address
- There was a problem with the email delivery system
- The mail spool you use has reached its capacity and was unable to receive our email

If 24 hours has passed since you registered and you have not received our email, we recommend that you organize the email on your server and redo the registration procedures. In this case, it will not cause an error if you register the same email address that you did before.

I finished the membership procedures, but my Member Number and Password have still not been issued.
Your official membership date is the date we send you an email confirming that your registration has been completed. It is sent after we confirm payment and contains your Member Number (ID) and Password. We will send you this email within seven business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after you remit payment. If more than 10 days have passed and you have still not heard from us, please contact us directly using the Inquiry Form.




Mail Order Merchandise

Ticket Reservations

What is required in order to reserve tickets?

In most cases, you must be a member of RINGOHAN.

I want to make ticket reservations, but my RINGOHAN membership is set to expire.
As indicated in the previous response, you have the right to make ticket reservations since you are a RINGOHAN member. If your membership is about to expire, you should renew it as soon as possible.

I want to make ticket reservations, but I'm not a member of RINGOHAN. I plan to join right away, but I'm worried it won't be in time to reserve the tickets.
RINGOHAN announces live concerts and other information to its members well before announcements are made on the SR Nekoyanagi Line and other places. Ticket reservations are sometimes conducted even before the end of the normal blackout period. In such cases, we never publicly announce that ticket reservations for a certain concert are being taken on RINGOHAN. If the timing for taking ticket reservations on RINGOHAN falls after the blackout period on the SR Nekoyanagi Line has ended, announcements are made several places on the site, including the news and information page, and are timed to ensure membership procedures can be completed in time to reserve tickets.




Revising and Changing Registered Information

I've forgotten my Password (or Member Number). Could you please tell me what it is?


You can look up your Password and Member Number on the Login page. Please click on ¡ÈForgotten Your Password?¡É or ¡ÈForgotten Your Member Number¡É and follow the procedures. In order to look up this information, however, you will need to provide information on yourself that you registered previously.

To look up your password, you will need to provide your name, Member Number, email address and birth date.
To look up your Member Number, you will need to provide your name, email address and birth date.

If you wish to change your password, you may do so by logging in to RINGOHAN and going to the Member Information section of the Member Prep School.

I want to change the information I registered with RINGOHAN.
You are allowed to change the following information.
- Address
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Occupation
- Password
- Email notification settings

You can make changes by logging in to RINGOHAN and going to the Member Information section of the Member Prep School. You are not allowed to change your name or gender on this page. If you wish to change your name or gender, please contact us directly via the Inquiry Form or RINGOHAN's FAQ page.

Is there no danger of my information being used or tampered with by a third party?
The Site uses GlobalSign's SSL encryption technology and True Site Identity Seal in an effort prevent information leaks and data intercepts. For information on the measures we take to protect your information, please see our Policy on Personal Information and Privacy Policy.
Your Password is your responsibility, so please manage it with care. Please refrain from using words and numbers that could be easily divulged. It is risky to use your birth date, address or phone number as your Password. Also, when making changes to the personal information that you've registered, always be sure to reload the confirmation page and check the information you've entered.
If you have changed your email address, you will be informed of the change via both your old and new addresses. Make sure you make the change before you lose access to your old address.


How do I leave the club?
You can conduct the necessary procedures by logging in to RINGOHAN and going to the Member Information section of the Member Prep School. Your RINGOHAN membership is valid for one year, so it automatically expires unless you complete renewal procedures while it is still valid.




Renewing Your Membership

When should I renew my membership?

You will be sent an email containing information about renewing your membership between two weeks and one month prior to its expiration. The procedures necessary for renewing your membership are listed in the email, so please read through them carefully. If you do not complete the renewal procedures, your ID and Password will be invalidated starting the day after your membership expires. If you pay your annual dues within two weeks of the time your membership expired, you will be able to use your same ID and Password again.

I accidentally deleted the membership renewal email.
The email containing information on membership renewal is sent between two weeks and one month prior to the time your membership expires. In addition, when your membership expires, another email is sent informing you of that fact, so please check this email.




Cannot Access RINGOHAN.

I'm not able to login to the member pages even though I'm pretty sure my Member Number and Password are correct.

Please check the following:
- Enter the information in standard one-byte numbers
- Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after
- Your Member Number is a combination of capital letters and numbers, like AA9999 or A11111.

Please closely check the following letters and numbers in particular because they often get mixed up.
1 - the number one
l - the lowercase letter ¡Èl¡É as in letter
I - the uppercase letter ¡ÈI¡É as in India
0 - the number zero
o - the lowercase letter ¡Èo¡É as in orange
O - the uppercase letter ¡ÈO¡É as in Oman

If you use a Windows operating system with Internet Explorer, there are sometimes problems with the browser settings, so you may want to check this as well. If you are still not able to login after checking everything we've recommended above, please contact us directly using the Inquiry Form. When you contact us, be sure to indicate the type of PC and browser that you use along with the browser's version.




Sending and Receiving Email

I don't receive emails from RINGOHAN.

There may be several reasons for this.
1. You can't receive any more emails because you've reached the storage capacity for your email address
2. Your email server is rejecting the emails.
3. The email you registered with RINGOHAN is not valid.

If the problem is #1 or #2, you should contact your Internet service provider.
If the problem is #3, login to RINGOHAN, go to the Member Information section of the Member Prep School and change your email to a valid address.

I don't receive The Monthly Apple or Revolutionary Missives.
Please check our response to the previous question. Also, please check your email delivery settings in the Member Information section of the Member Prep School. RINGOHAN's Calvados Cellars has past issues of The Monthly Apple and past Revolutionary Missives, so you can take at look at them there. They are posted on the site about two weeks after they are sent out by email.




Member ID Cards

When do I get my Member ID Card?

Your Member ID Card for RINGOHAN is made by hand. Work on its starts after you have joined the club. It therefore takes a bit of time before you actually receive it. It may take up to several months, so please bear with us. You can see what a Member ID Card looks like by checking out the Paraphernalia section of RINGOHAN's Member Prep School.

Is it possible to have my Member ID Card reissued?
Information on reissuing Member ID Cards is provided in the Paraphernalia section of RINGOHAN's Member Prep School, so please check there.
